Nemo 33 Brussels - February 2010

(26 Feb 2010)

Book your filgths TODAY to get cheap air fares!

Join us in Brussels this February to dive Europe's warmest dive location.  Nemo 33 is a huge indoor dive tank built by a diver on the outskirts of Brussels.   It has a number of different depth levels and so is suitable for all divers.  However, the dive tanks goes down to 33m soNemo Tank great experience for AOWs!

Nemo is used for underwater filming and therefore has the clearest water you'll ever see.  The big hazard here will be vertigo - check out that photo!  Not only that, it's beautifully warm so no suits are needed.

Nemo run a number of dive sessions each week and numbers are limited on each session.  We've pre-booked spaces on the 12noon and 2pm session on Saturday, 27th February.

We'll travel over on the last flight out on Friday night and have a beautiful hotel booked in the centre of Burssels.  Saturday morning, we'll check in with the Dive Centre by 10am to get paperwork and equipment sorted out.  This place runs like clockwork and divers need to be kitted up and on the deck, ready to enter the water, by 12noon sharp! Each session lasts an hour and divers should have time for a quick lunch before their 2pm dive.

Nemo are very particular about their water clarity and don't allow personal equipment into their tank.  All equipment is included in the price of the dive.  Wetsuits aren't needed.  Divers can bring their own mask, snorkel, fins and regs if they like (but don't have to).  Everyone must dive with a computer (they're available to rent at Nemo if required).

We'll be finished at the Dive Centre by late afternoon.  Back into central Brussels and a nightHotel Brussels on the town!  Brussels is a fabulous city with great restaurants, bars and cafes.  It's also a beer drinkers paradise and is renowned for specialty beers (sorry wine drinkers!). We're staying right in the centre of Brussels where everything should be a walk or a taxi ride away.

Sunday is free to explore, go sightseeing or just kick back and relax.

Divers should book their own flights on either Ryanair or Aerlingus.  This is the cheapest way to get over there (rather than us make group bookings which in this instance, would be expensive).  Flights are starting at €3 each way.  Divers should take the last flight out on Sunday evening to ensure they leave a minimum of 24 hours after diving the previous day.

We've booked accommodation and diving for the group.   2 nights B&B in 4 star twin rooms,Hotel Room plus 2 dives in Nemo cost €195.   We've already booked our flights so don't delay - we'll see you in the bar of the hotel on Friday night!!
