PADI Rescue Diver Course

The PADI Rescue Diver Course makes the subject of accident prevention and managementRescue Diver Manual not only fun, but extremely rewarding, and as an Advanced Open Water Diver, the Rescue Diver Course is your next step! On the Rescue Diver Course you'll learn how to anticipate, prevent and manage potential dive accidents. From assisting a tired diver to handling emergency scenarios, you'll practice applying the knowledge and skills that can make the difference in the unlikely event problems do arise. And the most important skill of all – self rescue.

Like many PADI Courses, home study is a key part to your preparation for this Course and limits classroom time to essential knowledge reviews, an exam and of course, review of skills on DVD.

All skills and scenarios are practiced in our indoor dive pool, which means the challenge is mastering the skill, not surviving the cold or conditions!  It's the ideal location to learn, practice and fine tune new rescue skills before applying these skills to the open water.  We then run accident scenarios in Open Water where divers get the chance to put all their newly acquired skills into practice. Rise to the challenges set and master them!

We run the PADI Rescue Diver Course from March to November each year.  The Course costs €425 including basic equipment rental (this must be pre-booked).   A deposit of €100 is needed to book onto the Course and collect your Crew Pack.  Balance can be paid over the duration of your Course.  Must be paid in full before Final Scenarios begin.  Check our Dive Calendar for upcoming Courses, or drop us a line by email.
