Keen to take your camera underwater, but not sure what it involves? Or do you already taking underwater ‘snaps’ and would like to improve? Either way, the Digital Underwater
Photography Course is a great way for keen divers to take good underwater shots after just a few short sessions.
A brief classrooms session overviews the theory and ensures divers are familiar with their camera and housing. Then off to the pool to practice taking shots – we have a variety of underwater objects for divers to practice taking photos of. And of course, fine tune your neutral buoyancy …. Can be tricky staying still! You’ll use various settings on your camera to see what works best for you. All photos are downloaded afterwards for everyone to see.
Then the real test – time to take your camera into the sea to take open water shots. Divers are always surprised and delighted by how much their photos have improved. And it’s something you’ll build on with every dive you do.
This Specialty costs €225. Divers need to pay a €100 deposit to enrol on the Course and collect their Crew Pack. The balance can be paid on the first day of the Course. Upcoming dates are listed on the Dive Calendar.
