Directions

Option 1 from Drogheda:

Drive through Julianstown along the 'old' road to Balbriggan. At the Square in Balbriggan turn left. You'll reach a T Junction where you turn left, and another T Junction where you should turn right. This road leads along the coast to Skerries. On reaching the village of Skerries you'll stop at a T Junction / traffic lights where you turn left. Follow this road around to the large roundabout / Monument, taking the first exit / left, which leads to the Harbour. At the back of the Harbour wall is the RNLI Lifeboat station and public slipway. For shore access, continue past the Harbour (the road bends sharply to the right), and continue to the car park where the road comes to an end. This is a public car park beside the Captains swimming area.

Option 2 from Dublin:

Travelling North along the M1, Come off slip road signposted Donabate and Skerries. Head along the old Belfast road, Turn right just after/opposite the ESSO garage (Blakes Cross). Stay on this road heading to Lusk (about 3 miles) and continue on to Skerries. When in Skerries, follow signposts to the Harbour. At the back of the Harbour wall is the RNLI Lifeboat station and public slipway. For shore access, continue past the Harbour (the road bends sharply to the right), and continue to the car park where the road comes to an end. This is a public car park beside the Captains swimming area.
